  1. Who are we?

    ABOSS Events is a product of esomnia, located at Mr. H.F. de Boerlaan 24-b, 7417 DA Deventer, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 17239136. We are the data controller for the personal data processed via aboss-events.com, aboss-evenementen.nl, and account.aboss-events.com.

  1. What data do we process?

    Name and email address — upon purchase and account access
    Company name, Chamber of Commerce number, VAT number, and country — for business purchases, for invoicing and VAT processing
    License code, selected package, and validity period — after purchase
    Billing information — for every purchase or renewal
    IP address — for license activations, login links, and abuse prevention
    Domain name(s) on which the license is active — upon activation of the plugin
    We do not process payment card or bank details — these are sent directly to our payment service provider, Mollie.
  2. For what purpose and on what basis?

    Performance of the agreement: delivery of your license, downloads, account access, and support.
    Legal obligation: preparing and retaining invoices (tax retention obligation).
    Legitimate interest: security, fraud and abuse prevention (including IP logging during activations and login links).
  3. With whom do we share data?

    We never sell your data. We engage the following processors:
    Mollie B.V. — payment processing
    SMTP2GO — sending transactional emails (welcome messages, invoices, login links)
    Hetzner GmbH — hosting of our servers within the EU
    We have entered into a data processing agreement with each processor.
  4. How long do we retain data?

    Invoices and accounting records: 7 years (statutory retention period).
    Account and license data: for as long as your license is active, plus a reasonable period thereafter.
    Login links (magic links): up to a few days, after which they automatically expire.
    Log files: temporarily, for security and troubleshooting.
  5. Cookies
    The portal (account.aboss-events.com) uses only functional cookies necessary to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
  6. Your rights
    You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, and transfer your data, and you may object to its processing. Send a request to privacy@aboss-events.com. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you may file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
  7. Changes
    We may amend this statement. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
